Our academy session today went exceptionally well. Cohort 1 presented their completed Design activity as the capstone of all their efforts over the last three years. Cohorts 2 and 3 continued to work on designing for their activities under the leadership of Dr. Zi and Dr. Ladner by starting to create working prototypes of their designs.

Cohort one presented the outcomes of their different projects in front of GE volunteers, Clemson University staff, and family and friends. It can be challenging for people to stand up and present their work, but our students demonstrated all their experience over the last three years and excelled.

Cohort Two continued creating new designs for their water filtration project and exceeded expectations by achieving working designs. After the initial success, students reiterated their designs and began preparing for their presentations that will occur later in the semester.Students working on design challenge with Dr. Zi

Cohort Three continued to work on creating a filtration system based on their own designs. Students were divided into multiple groups to facilitate a mix of ideas and teach the foundations of cooperation essential to an engineer.
