How Long We Keep Your Personal Information
FHI 360 keeps your personal information for as long as we need it to carry out the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable laws and regulations.
The Use of Cookies
In general, the Site does NOT use the "cookies" that some websites use to gather and store information about your visits. Cookies are essentially tokens of information, such as preferences and passwords, which some web servers collect when you access them. That data is stored on your hard drive – not on the website's server. When you visit a "cookie" site, the server looks for its cookie on your hard drive and reads the information it stored there. Read your web browser's help files to learn more about cookies. Read our Cookie Policy for more information about how we collect and use your cookies as you use our Site.
Legal Requirements
Though FHI 360 makes every effort to preserve user privacy, there may be times when FHI 360 needs to disclose personal information when required by law. Examples of such requirements include responding to a court order or in response to requests from law enforcement authorities.
Privacy Policies of Other Websites
The Site includes links to other websites. When you click to other websites, FHI 360 is not responsible for, and has no control over, the information collection or privacy practices of that site. It is important that you review and understand the privacy policies posted on any linked sites you visit before volunteering any of your personal information. These sites may also collect cookies or allow third-party advertisers on their sites to collect cookies. You can often find information regarding a site and its privacy policy on the site's home page.
