This marks an exciting chapter in the programme for Cohort 1 students as they begin the final year of this unique global initiative.
Throughout the sessions our Cohort 1 students commenced their final year project by investigating community problems which they can solve through engineering.
Meanwhile, Cohort 2 students completed designs for Marble Roller Coasters and Elastic Powered Boats while also beginning the development of Hydroponic Farms. During the development of their farms students will work to design and build a hydroponic device or system that is able to produce different fresh and healthy foods affordably, and reliably, for a family in their own community.
Both days were high in energy with an abundance of creative flare on show!
TILG Programme Manager, Paul Dyer, commented "To see such detailed application of engineering principles at this age is incredible to see!"
Well done to all of our students and we look forward to seeing you in February for your next Academy sessions.
