Tuesday, 4/16, with the aid of volunteers from GE. We had numerous students take an interest
in developing and constructing catapults. The students presented various engineering design
principles using limited supplies, particularly prototyping and testing. With direction from the
engineers, each group created a functional prototype that successfully fired a ping pong ball at a
target a meter away. We are proud of each group's effort and are eager to see what kind of
future the next generation of engineers creates.
