On November 4th, Legacy Early College hosted a NEXT Engineers Discovery event at their Gifted and Talented family night. During this event, students and parents were introduced to STEM and engineering using the Tall-Tower challenge where teams faced off to design the tallest tower to hold up a golf ball using limited materials such as paperclips, pipe cleaners, and straws. We loved seeing the competition and creativity from the parents and students and were impressed with a tower reaching 78.5 cm tall!
