A new, incredible group of passionate and confident future engineers came together this month to kick off the Engineering Academy! Cohort 2 students arrived in the room as strangers, but after just one week, new friendships have blossomed and students are developing new skills such as how to work well in a team and how to present to the group.
GE volunteers supported students both weeks, helping to guide students through design challenges, share their career journey, and answer the many thought-provoking questions students asked!
The facilitators and university students were incredibly supportive. They knew when to observe and when to offer guidance to bring the best out of the teams, and made the day so much fun!
We cannot wait to see this inspiring group again in February; to learn and work with their exciting and inspiring minds!
